Reviews

We had a lovely week in the cottage, well equipped and comfortable and very peaceful with a great outlook. The owners are lovely and welcoming. Would recommend this cottage to others.

Mrs S,

We had a wonderful time in Poundhill cottage, a peaceful and quiet spot. De cottage was well equipped, and the bed was excellent. Everything was spotless clean. We had dinner in the pub The Bells and Jorrocks, a good meal. Thanks Paul en Sue for the tasty applejuice.

Mrs R,

This is a lovely byre conversion, tucked away on the owners property and great both as a base for exploring the Kent Weald , East Sussex and Kent Coast or the southern fringes of the greater London area or as a cosy retreat on a rainy day. Strongly recommend a meal at the 3 chimneys inn in nearby Biddenden or a stroll down local lanes to Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, but a plethora of great National Trust and other heritage sites are within 40minutes drive.

Mr G,

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage ideal for two. It was in a quiet location as we had hoped and within walking distance of a friendly local pub with real ale, and only a little further afield, excellent access to interesting National Trust and English Heritage sites. We even had a day out in London by train, again made easy by advice from our host.

Mrs C,

We had a memorable one-week stay at this beautiful cottage in the Kent countryside. The cottage is set in a lovely small village, next to pastures and meadows with sheep grazing. It provided one of the most peaceful, enjoyable, and relaxing holiday stays we have ever enjoyed. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We took many long walks in the countryside, including a favorite walk to nearby Sissinghurst. Our local pub village provided a happy spot to enjoy several evening meals and meet local people and some gorgeous dogs. We hope to return again, since we didn't want to leave at the end of our week.

Dr H,

Comfortable well equipped cottage in lovely countryside. Good pub in village and lots of lovely gardens to visit in the area.
