Description

Firs Coach House was originally the stables to the owners' imposing Grade II listed home and it lies tucked away down its own drive creating a good degree of privacy. The village of Rolvenden has plenty to offer - the C.M. Booth Collection of Historic Vehicles is located in the middle of the High Street - specializing in Morgan three-wheeler motor cars, and has a variety of other vintage cars, motorcycles, bicycles, displays of toy and model cars, there are two pubs, a village shop, garage and a thriving Farmers Market on Thursdays.  Historic Rolvenden Windmill and the glorious gardens at Hole Park are just outside the village - and an easy drive takes you to Rye, Camber and Hastings for a seaside treat. There is an added bonus in the summer months you can enjoy a dip in the outdoor swimming pool in the owners garden next door!!  Shop: 800 yards  Pub: 500 yards  Coast: 11 miles

Reviews

Comfortable and convenient for our restful, short-break: Plus, the local shop is surprisingly good.

Mr R,

A very quaint, comfortable and well appointed cottage in a good location for sightseeing in the area. Although close to a main road it is quiet and secluded. We particularly valued the safety for our young dog in the courtyard and the close proximity to dog walking areas.

Mr H,

We will be back to stay in this lovely cottage again. The husband and wife who run the cottage were really friendly. Thank you so much for a great week and always having a smile on your faces!

Mrs A,

Good selection of properties but your booking fees are now quit high which adds a lot to the overall holiday cost.
