Kent Holiday Guide
There is so much to see and do in Kent that one week will never be long enough, but we have plenty of ideas to keep you amused for whatever length of time you can afford to spend in the lovely Garden of England. This splendid county has been known as The Garden of England since Tudor times when Henry VIII enjoyed some Kent grown cherries and has been famous for its bountiful produce ever since.
There’s beautiful rolling countryside, lovely picturesque beaches, and heritage towns to enjoy. There is plenty of Kentish culture to soak up on your visit, but many visitors to the area like to take advantage of the great transport links in the county too. When you’re on a break in Kent you can indulge in what this fine county has to offer as well as hop over (or under!) the Channel for a trip to France! There is also easy access to London with train stations dotted across the county.
You can find all sorts of useful information in this section of our website. We have designed it especially for those wanting a bit more information on the area and what it has to offer. From eating and drinking, to golf, shopping, and wildlife we hope that we can provide all the information you need! You can always have a chat with one of the team, we’re based in Cranbrook and Sandwich and we’d be happy to take your call with any questions you may have on (Cranbrook) 01580 720770 (Sandwich) 01304 619444.
