January to March Events
There is always something to do in Kent and Sussex, whatever the weather. Why not book one of our cosy cottages, perfect to return to after a bracing walk along the coast and to use as a base for exploring the areas' cultural and culinary delights. Holiday on Ice 'Believe', Brighton Centre 5th - 14th January 2018
The world-renowned show, Holiday on Ice, which has been running for over 73 years, will be returning to Brighton in January 2018 with the new spectacular show, BELIEVE. Directed and choreographed by Olympic and four-time world champion, Christopher Dean - this is a show not to be missed!
Knights & Princesses, Battle of Hastings 12th - 16th February 2018
Try something different this February Half Term in East Sussex and take part in all the medieval fun happening at the English Heritage site, Battle of Hastings, Battle. Transform yourself into a courtly Lord or Lady with tips on everything from curtsies to combat.
Fairytale Castle at Dover Castle, 12th - 16th February 2018

Rye Bay Scallop Week, 24th February - 4th March 2018
The 15th Rye Bay Scallop Week will be taking place between Saturday 24th February - Sunday 4th March 2018. Rye Bay Scallop Week provides the perfect opportunity to indulge in seafood delights! The local restaurants showcase a range of different recipes (all including scallop!), with cookery demonstrations, live music, tasting events and much, much more!
Bluebell Festival at Hole Park Gardens 20th April - 3rd May 2018
Tucked away, near Cranbrook, Kent lies Hole Park Gardens which is a family owned estate and has been to be one of the best gardens in Kent. Set in 15 acres of beautiful gardens and often referred to as 'a hidden gem', Hole Park is renowned for being one of the best places to see bluebells in the south east, if not the country!
Footsteps in Time - 24th February - 24th November 2018
Guided tours are offered around the heart of Rochester. Your guides will be in costumed dress. Listen and see how Charles Dickens incorporated many of the beautiful historic buildings into his books. Come and enjoy some fantastic entertainment for all the family
