All the holiday cottages offered by Kent and Sussex Holiday Cottages are VisitEngland graded, assuring customers of clearly defined standards of cleanliness, comfort and furnishings. Now the high levels of customer service and peace of mind we offer are further recognised by the presentation of a VisitEngland Quality Accredited Agency award, given after an assessment of our office policies, practices and procedures.
Kents and Sussex Holiday Cottages are delighted to be one of only a small number of holiday cottage agencies recognised in this way. We have always been committed to doing all we can to make your holiday special, but now you don’t just have to take our word for it!
Our relationship with VisitEngland is aimed at reassuring you that the property you choose meets internationally-recognised standards of comfort, furnishings and equipment. The majority of our properties are individually selected and inspected annually by trained assessors working to National Quality Assurance Standards. Click on this link to view the VisitEngland Standards PDF. Each property must meet an extensive list of minimum requirements to take part in the scheme and from there, increased levels of quality and presentation will determine the final rating. For more information, view the VisitEngland website.

How to choose the star rating that is right for you
Quite simply, the more stars, the higher the overall level of quality you can expect to find. Cottages at higher rating levels also have to meet some additional requirements for facilities.
The Gold award is awarded to properties reflecting a high level of quality within their overall star grading, putting them at the higher end of their current grading. These properties reflect a higher level of quality, comfort and cleanliness throughout.
