The owners of The Piece of Cheese were thrilled to find their quirky property mentioned in The Times on Saturday October 26th. We are equally delighted of course! It is certainly one of our more unusual properties being shaped like a wedge of cheese. It is in an extremely good location in the Old Town surrounded by interesting shops and eateries and a short walk from the Stade from where the fishing fleet is launched. The old huts that are used for drying and mending nets are a distinctive feature of the seaside scene and the new Jerwood Gallery is an added attraction to the seafront with frequent exhibitions featuring local artists. When you feel you must go down to the sea again - to the lonely sea and the sky - Hastings is a great spot to choose.
