Weather for Ducks

Some people might be complaining about too much wind and rain recently but luckily the ducks do apparently love it as much as we say they do! The RSPB has reported that there have been a surge in shoveler ducks visiting Kent. The clay pits at Cliffe have witnessed the highest number of shoveler ducks recorded at a single site in Kent since 1961. So this is good news for nature lovers and reminds us of another old saying that Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining.  Right now, we humans are happy to report that the sun is out, the sky is blue and it looks like a great day for a walk in the lovely countryside. Soon the woods will be filled with snowdrops and we are looking forward to Spring.
