The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Turner Contemporary gallery in Margate yesterday as part of her work with the National Portrait Gallery of which she is patron. It was a beautiful sunny day and crowds turned out to catch a glimpse of the expectant royal and even a chance to talk to her.
The gallery opened in 2011 and stands in a prime position on the seafront in the old town of Margate. Admission is free and is well worth a visit. The interest in Margate as a holiday location is growing and we have had several enquiries from property owners in the area so watch this space.
Currently we have properties in nearby Ramsgate and Broadstairs. Here are a few of them for you to take a peek at.
Wellington Crescent and Waitemata in Ramsgate or Stone Gardens in Broadstairs.
