According to Country Living, the delightful town of Sandwich, Kent has been put in third place for best market towns to live. Just being pipped by Burnham in Norfolk and Clitheroe in Lancashire topping the list.
And why not, Sandwich, an historic market town and a cinque port town too. It has a peaceful atmosphere with pretty streets and interesting shops,a river side walk which will take you to the sea and an easy walk around the outskirts of the town on the Ropewalk. A bird observatory, trips on the river seal spotting, a cinema which dates back to 1930s with original neon lighting and the curfew bell which still rings daily at 8pm. This was to signify when animals were to be put outside onto the streets.
If relocation isn't for you, a holiday here will give you a taste of life in a market town full of convenience and fulfillment.
Oh and not forgetting, our lovely, newly decorated office stands in the heart of Sandwich opposite St Peter's Church.
Pop in to say hello.
