Kent often features in many papers, on TV and radio for what the county offers. Today Kent has been voted the Top family holiday destination in Europe! The announcement is part of the travel guide publisher’s Best in Europe 2015 and puts Kent ahead of other European destinations naming France, Ireland and Germany.

Mentioned in the review are the blue flagged beaches, the white cliffs of Dover and the historic town of Broadstairs, a favourite retreat to author Charles Dickens who wrote The Pickwick Papers at his home Bleak House in Viking Bay.

Margate offers The Turner Contemporary for art lovers and with the re-opening of the vintage amusement park Dreamland in the town later this month is creating more interest to the County. It doesn’t surprise me that we have featured higher than other European destinations.

We offer fabulous walks, fantastic beaches, Castles, gardens and woodlands, something for everyone. Anyway don’t take my word for it, come and see for yourself! We can put you up, click on the link or give us a call 01580 720770.
