Kent Life have put the spotlight on Sandwich this week and quite rightly so! This delightful town on the Kent coast has something for everyone. If it's history you're into then you won't be disappointed. The town has some wonderful medieval buildings dating back as far back as the 14th century, it's own copy of the Magna Carta and Richborough Roman Fort just outside the town has a wealth of Roman ruins and artefacts. Whilst exploring the town, there are numerous shops, pubs and cafes selling a varied range of refreshments and, of course, sandwiches!

There is a beautiful secret garden within the town itself, you can wander along the river or take a stroll along the glorious Sandwich Bay beach - great for all the family. Sandwich is also known for having two world-class links golf courses, Prince's and Royal St. George's, both of which have hosted The Open and allow paying guests.

If you prefer a different type of birdie, why not visit the Sandwich and Pegwell Bay National Nature Reserve, an excellent birdwatching site set on the Stour estuary. We have some gorgeous properties in and around this lovely town, so why not have a browse and book your stay in Sandwich now!
