10 great things to do in Kent & Sussex in January 2016.

How’s your New Year’s Resolution going? Has it fallen by the wayside like mine. January can be dull after all the festivities. Keeping the body and mind active is the answer. Well look no further, Kent & Sussex has some amazing places to visit, stunning walks and interesting activities.
I have listed a few for you below:
(1) Groombridge Place is a moated manor house near Tunbridge Wells has beautiful botanical gardens to enjoy as well as the manor house.(2) Leeds Castle, the loveliest Castle in the World near Maidstone is promoting falconry displays.(3) Shepherd Neame the UK's oldest brewery based in Faversham has brewery tours with tastings.(4) Ramsgate Tunnels have guided tours of the subterranean tunnel system used to shelter 60,000 people during WWII air raids.(5) Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Centre Manston Ramsgate. After visiting the tunnels pop along here to continue the WWII theme.(6) Royal Pavilion in Brighton which was built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV.(7) Beachy Head Eastbourne. The spectacular cliffs tops of Beachy Head are a must see for all visitors.(8) Bodiam Castle Robertsbridge Built in 1385, the Castle is set in open parkland and approached through a series of medieval water features.(9) Chichester Cathedral West Sussex. This stunning 900 year old building is a must; they are offering guided tours for you to experience this splendour.
10) Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard East Sussex Tours around the winery and woodlands.
