Deal, a lovely place to visit

Deal is again featured in the Telegraph newspaper after being voted High Street of the year a few years ago. It is now in the list of idyllic winter boltholes.
There is an abundance of cafes and interesting places to stop for a coffee and a naughty piece of cake or for the cycling enthusiasts there is now a cafe stop on the promenade especially for cyclists.
Deal also has an interesting mix of independent and high street chain stores which gives it an unusual feel. The Saturday market is also a good place to browse or if you fancy a walk, the promenade stretches for miles taking you to Sandwich or Dover whichever way you choose to walk. The pier which has in recent years also won an award, has a cafe at the end and is also a favourite place for fishermen who can be seen casting their lines for a bite.
I may be quite biased but don't take my word for it or that of the newspaper, take a short break or a weeks holiday to explore for yourself.
