Haven Heights Sandwich

We have waited anxiously for the completion of the viewing tower at the church opposite our office and it was recently finished. It is called Haven Heights.
Sadly the clock chimes haven’t been reinstated which is disappointing but I guess visitors to the tower will appreciate their silence.
Angela ventured up the tower yesterday, armed with her camera. There are 112 steps starting off with the original stone steps and then the newly built wooden staircase. It is quite snug on the staircases and only room for one person at a time but the views are amazing.
The cost is £5 per adult with reductions for concessions and there is a height restriction for children of 1 metre.
Below is a photograph of our office from the tower. Quite impressive don't you agree.
