Travel west to Tunbridge Wells and enrol in first-hand culture at the Assembly Halls. Enjoy a matinee then walk down to The Pantiles and lose yourself in a relaxed evening; enjoying drinks and alfresco dining. In the summer nights, one can also enjoy free jazz. Or visit The Forum to experience some up-and-coming modern music.
Journey down to Hastings’ Old Town and take in the vibrant buildings and cafes. To absorb Hasting’s seaside view travel up on the Cliff Railway to Hastings Country Park and go for a walk whilst taking the sea breeze.
For a more family-oriented day visit the new and improved Hastings Pier; visit the arcades with the kids and end the day with a stroll along the pebbled-beach where the fishing boats languish upon the shore.
