The Nutshell - By Amber Mutter
We have a stunning new property named The Nutshell which is located outside Pluckley- named the most haunted village by the Guinness book of World Records. Other than being surrounded by beautiful countryside and apple orchards, Pluckley is also home to the filming of the Darling Buds of May TV series. The property itself is luxuriously furnished with exquisite features such as a standalone copper bath and a spacious tiled shower area. The living area has a Smart TV mounted on the wall and a beautiful wood burning stove where upon arrival a basket of wood will be provided. The bedroom has been daintily furnished with a wardrobe, dressing table, an armchair and a king sized bed accompanied by bedside tables.
The Nutshell is only 2 miles away from the infamous pubs 17thC Rose and Crown in Mundy Bois and The Dering Arms which is known for its amazing sea food. If the sea food isn’t a good enough excuse to visit The Dering Arms this pub is notorious for its ghost sightings and has three main resident ghosts. A coachman has been sighted staring wistfully into the fire of the public lounge as well as a Tudor maid being sat at the bar- some witnesses thought that she was a real person! Last but not least there is a Cavalier who is known to roam around the upstairs rooms. If ghost hunting does not appeal to you, Pluckley is in a great location for travelling up to Ashford to catch the Eurostar to Paris or even the historic city of Canterbury for a day trip. Whilst this property only sleeps two, it would make for the perfect getaway from everyday city life and is ready to book now!
