Spring is on its way

Spring is on its way, the first daffodils and crocuses are starting to make an appearance and so are the newborn lambs. There is nothing more encouraging to announce that the winter is soon behind us and that the warmer weather is on its way, than little lambs gambolling in the fields, wagging their tails frantically.

If you'd like to visit the lambs in Kent there are a few farms at which you can do so with the family.

First up is Hadlow college where you will be able to meet the lambs on the weekend of 11 and 12 March between 11am and 4pm.

High Weald Academy at Cranbrook will be open on the weekend of 18 and 19 March from 10am till 4.30pm.

Both Broadleas Farm near Dover and Kent Life near Maidstone will be open from 1 April. So you could always visit all of the venues and have lots of cuddles and feed  the cute lambs.

I went with my grand daughter last year to Broadleas Farm and will definitely be arranging to go again this year, this time with both little treasures hopefully. Perhaps we'll try Kent Life this time.If you'd like to make a weekend of it, try one of our super cottages by visiting www.kentandsussexcottages.co.uk
