Kent's best Christmas Markets

If you fancy doing your Christmas shopping at one of Kent's Christmas Markets this year here is a guide to whats on, where and when.
If the thought of Christmas shopping sends you into a state of panic, don't worry, why not spend a relaxing day mooching around them, sipping mulled wine whilst tasting the delights from the food stalls. The smell of hot chestnuts and local artisan foods permeating the air, the horses on the carousels dancing round and round or simply soak up the atmosphere.
Rochester Christmas market is in the grounds of the beautiful castle from Saturday 25th November until Sunday 10th December.
Leeds Castle has their Christmas market at weekends from Saturday 25th November to Sunday 17th December. Overlooked by the historic castle, there are wooden chalets with lots of goodies, fairground rides and a falconry display, fun from all the family.
The pretty town of Tenterden has its market on 25th and 26th November with the switching on of the lights on the Friday afternoon.
Canterbury, famous for its Cathedral boasts over 50 German market style cabins selling a variety of festive goodies and presents. From 25th November until 24th December this will be great for those last minute shoppers on Christmas Eve.
Christmas at the Castle of Whitstable is on Sunday 3rd and 10th December. There is a tea room which will be selling delicious festive treats to indulge in during the day.
