If you are looking for inspiration for activities during the half term next week, here are a few suggestions:
Try wearing your little ones out at Jungle Jim's indoor play centre near Birchington. This is next to the Powell Cotton museum which has a vast array of artefacts from foreign travels, a collection of natural history gathered by Percy Powell Cotton.
The Big fun house near Canterbury is very good fun, I speak from personal experience.
If skate boarding is a favourite, there is Revolution Skatepark in Broadstairs.
For railway enthusiasts Elham Valley near Folkestone has a railway museum and the Hornby visitor centre at Margate is a place to reminisce your own childhood toys with your children. Enjoy the Scaletrix track and see who is the champion driver of the family.
The castles of Deal, Walmer and Dover are always a great place to visit and climbing the hills at Dover will work up an appetite.
