Longer Term Lets (Flexilets)

If you’re looking for somewhere to rent in Kent or Sussex between November and March for a bit longer than a week or two, then a selection of our holiday cottages are available for rent (or what we term 'Flexilets').

Flexilets allow you to book a property from nine weeks up to five months on a fixed term lease during our quieter months - ideal if you are between homes or need somewhere to rent for that little bit longer than just a holiday...

Corporate Lets

We have a large selection of holiday cottages, houses and apartments in Kent and Sussex. Throughout the year many of these are available for corporate lets for clients or employees looking for long or short term accommodation. We find that people on work secondment enjoy the flexibility and freedom of self catering and our rates are cheaper than hotels.

How to rent a Kent or Sussex Property

We have tried to make it as simple and flexible as possible to book a Flexilet with us - below is a quick outline of the steps that we need to take to get you into your property as quickly as possible. If you need to move immediately, then please give us a call, as we can always accommodate you on a holiday basis while we sort the paperwork out for a longer let.

1: Calling one of our reservations team on 01580 720770 who will be able to show you properties available, advise and confirm if your chosen property is available.

2: All our Flexilet prices are quoted per four weeks (28 days) — this makes it easy for you to book an exact number of weeks, rather than months, for maximum flexibility.

3: Once you have chosen a property that is available and suitable for you, we will ask you to fill in a simple application form and return this to us as soon as possible to get the ball rolling or you can pay the full amount upfront and avoid having to set up a lease agreement.

4: Once we receive your application form, we will check the references (one previous landlord and one other reference) that you have supplied.

5: As soon as we have collected references that we are happy with, we will draw up an agreement between you and the holiday homeowner. This agreement will be a fixed term lease for the entire term of your stay. At this stage we will charge you £40 + VAT for drawing up the agreement.

6: At the beginning of your tenancy, you will be required to pay four weeks rent in advance, as well as a sum equal to the four weekly rent to be held by the landlord in case of any damage caused to the property during your stay.

7: We require that you setup a standing order for every 4 week period to pay your rent. It is very important that you complete the standing order form and send to your bank as well as sending us a copy, so in the event of a problem we have the details to contact the bank. PLEASE NOTE we will not be able to process with your rental without a standing order being setup.

8: That’s it! All we ask is that you then pay your rental promptly every four weeks by standing order as agreed - and, of course, look after the property as if it were your own! If you still have questions please call us on 01580 720770 to discuss your Flexilet.
