A beautifully presented half timbered 16th Century house, located just outside the city walls and almost within sight of the cathedral spires.  This pretty little cottage has charm and history aplenty and provides accommodation for up to 3 people.  The cosy living area has an original inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove for those winter evenings curled up with a book.  The open plan compact kitchen and dining area has been creatively fitted with bespoke designed concealed cupboards. Majestic Canterbury cathedral and the main shopping area Whitefriars are just 5 minutes walk, together with an array of restaurants, cafes, independent shops and museums to visit - all within a short stroll.  The gardens of St Augustine's Abbey are on the doorstep where you can take the dog for a walk  or why not head out of the city for a day and explore the many nearby beautiful villages and enjoy a pub lunch.  After a day of sightseeing, just relax in the sunny enclosed courtyard garden, planted with pretty shrubs and climbing roses.  Shop: 200 yards     Pub:100 yards     Coast:  8.7 miles
