Description

This delightful Grade II listed house built circa 1750 is a true step back in time, sympathetically furnished with antique furniture and some lovely art, plus wonderful original features and located in the heart of Deal's old town.  The accommodation is arranged over 3 floors and comfortably sleeps 6 people with the possibility of an additional fold up bed for a child.  The house is bright and airy with large sash windows some with original internal shutters and is only a few yards from the seafront and promenade where you can still find fishing boats pulled up on  the shingle beach just south of the pier. Deal is full of quirky independent shops, great little cafes and some very good restaurants, 81 Beach Street being one of them, where you can benefit from the Exclusively For You offer available to our guests.  There is an attractive courtyard garden to enjoy a morning coffee or aperitif whilst listening to the sea, with a rear access gate for bicycles if needed.  The cycle path along the seafront stretches all the way to Kingsdown where you will find The Zetland Arms pub on the beach, passing both Walmer and Deal castle on the way.  Head inland to discover the lovely Kent countryside dotted with vineyards, orchards and woodland or have a day out in the stunning medieval city of Canterbury - only 40 minutes drive.  Shop: 1 mile            Pub: 100 yards            Coast: 50 yards

Reviews

Stylish and comfortable house with all the amenities we (three friends) needed. Sparkling clean, comfy beds and very well equipped kitchen. We had a lovely stay.

Miss C,

Hi we had a great stay and you have a lovely house. We did have a mix up with the recycling at first as the bin liners were in the wrong bins! Super clean house so your housekeeper does a great job! Thanks!
