Reviews

This is a beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable with all amenities to hand. The view from the verandah (and windows) is wonderful. After staying at a few cottages and the various settees always being past their best, one particular bonus was the three piece suite at Quince Tree cottage which is in excellent condition and very comfortable to sit on after being out sightseeing all day. Its also in a great location for walking into Hythe itself which has a variety of pubs and restaurants. The owner is a lovely host, very helpful and her lemon drizzle cake is delish! We didn't want to leave and would hope to return to Quince Tree cottage.

Mrs Pamela M,

This is an excellent property with everything you would need for a stay of any duration. Well kept, clean and with great views out to sea. Within easy walking distance of the town. The owners are great hosts. Our second stay here and hope to be back soon.

Mrs Wendy V,

Very good service & a holiday cottage which was excellent. The interior was well maintained and a very high standard

Mr stephen s,

First class accommodation, with very helpful owners. excellent in all respects.

Mr Brian C,

It fulfilled all our expectations, and, because of its comfortable furnishings and superb views, was the perfect location to spend a relaxing week.

Rev Paul B,

Wonderful cottage, outstanding view. Perfectly equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, high quality linens. I particularly liked that although there were some nice wall decorations, the place wasn't cluttered by nik naks and ornaments. I also appreciated the study - handy place for the laptop, various essential paperwork, and journalling/crafting materials. I felt a bit tearful when I had to leave!

Ms Geraldine C,

Our first stay with Kent and Sussex Holidays and the property was excellent. We stayed in Hythe which is a lovely town and we enjoyed walks along the military canal and taking The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway to Dungeness. We also visited many gardens in Kent and went to Sandwich and Walmer Castle. We were welcomed by the owner and found the house comfortable, clean and of luxury standard with a large screen tv and WiFi. We loved the balconies with distant sea views and had a very relaxing holiday.

Mrs Helen R,

This was by far the best holiday cottage we have stayed in, (and we have stayed in a lot!) with the owners having an exceptional approach to little “over and above” touches. There were fresh flowers, homemade cake, local pear juice and beautiful pots of bright geraniums on the balcony.

Mrs Gill L,

The house was the best equipped we have stayed in. Excellently furnished, very clean and tidy. Great views out to sea and good access to the countryside nearby. Within walking distance to the town centre for shopping or food. Would recommend.
