A truly glamorous property nestled on the hillside in Hythe that would not look out of place in California, or on the Cote d'Azur. This well-appointed house provides very modern and luxurious accommodation for 4 people in the centre of town. Each bedroom has high quality bed linen, an en-suite shower room and sliding patio doors, leading onto the deck and sun terrace with recliners, seating area, your own bar for a well-earned cocktail and even palm trees.Stone steps at either end of the terraces lead down to the lower levels and also street level. The spacious living area has a t.v which drops down from the ceiling and sliding patio doors opening out onto the sun terrace, plus a funky purple multi fuel stove for those cooler evenings. The traditional seaside town of Hythe is on the doorstep, with its independent shops and some great restaurants to choose from. Why not spend a couple of hours on the Royal Military canal, where you can hire a rowing boat, or take a seaside stroll along the esplanade to nearby Sandgate and explore the antiques shops. The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway is only a few minutes walk away and is a fun filled day out for the whole family, or fabulous Port Lympne Wild Animal Park is just 10 minutes drive overlooking Romney Marsh and offering a true safari experience with over 600 acres of wildlife to see. The property is accessed via a coded entry gate and 2 flights of stone steps from the street and is fully enclosed behind a high ragstone wall. Accommodation is all on one level with underfloor heating and wood flooring throughout.

It has a super king size bed, bedside tables, individually controlled overhead reading lights large built-in wardrobes with sliding doors and a wall-mounted t.v. There is also a dressing area with dressing table and mirror above. En-suite Bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath with hand held shower, hand basin with cupboard beneath, heated towel rail, large walk-in shower with drench shower head and a hand-held shower and w.c.
Bedroom 2 with sliding patio doors leading onto the terrace, has zip 'n link beds which are made up as a king-size, bedside tables, individually controlled overhead reading lights, built-in wardrobes and shelving and a wall-mounted t.v. En-suite Shower Room is fully tiled and has a corner shower with hand basin and cupboard beneath, a heated towel rail and w.c.
Garden: Is set out over two formal terraces on different levels fringed with planting and shrubs. The upper terrace has decking immediately around the house, leading onto artificial grass and a sun-terrace with palm trees, sun loungers and a seating area with occasional tables. The bar with seating is located to the side and stone steps lead down to the lower terrace. There is a large dining table with seating for up to 10 people and further stone steps leading down to the outer gate.
Parking: There is on-street parking where available, there is usually space outside the property or the local car parks.
Heating: The property has underfloor heating throughout and thermostat controls for each room. There is a multi-fuel stove in the Living area.
Pets: No pets allowed at this property
Important - Please note: Extra bedroom available for an additional cost of £300 per week or part thereof. Bedroom 3 is a mirror image of bedroom 2 with en-suite shower room. Due to the steep stone steps to access the property from the street and that the garden area is terraced on 2 levels, this property is not suitable for people with any mobility problems. Please bring your own beach towels. Please advise on required bed make-up on booking. Travel cot and high chair provided on request for very young children/babies
Personal Chef: If you would like to have a dinner prepared or served for a Special Occasion during your stay, an excellent chef, who was formerly at The Dorchester in London can be arranged on prior request, please speak to the Owners direct.
The property was excellent, in immaculate condition with everything you could need. The local area is very pretty with a lovely canal to walk along and have boat trips on and a quaint high street. Easy driving distance to Folkestone, Dover and many beaches.
Beautiful home with lovely hosts, would recommend this property and would love to visit again.
The owner was very welcoming and left a very good welcome pack.The house was very well presented and comfortable the owner has created an excellent holiday home which I would definitely go to in the future.The garden was well laid out and had plenty of outdoor seating laid out over the 2 terraces. Well Located for food shopping and the town of Hythe which is a gem on the Kent coast
Great house, great location, great host = great weekend. A beautiful property close to the town centre. It had everything we needed.
Beautiful accommodation, ideally located in the residence. Very high quality equipment and first class comfort. The owners are extremely helpful and very friendly! We will be happy to stay in this house again! Had a great holiday !!! )
This property should be 5*. Excellent property great area couldn't ask for more (well maybe a hot tub would be a great addition). We will be returning next year x
