Reviews

We had a most enjoyable week in Fisherman’s Cottage. We found Kingsdown an ideal base from which to tour this corner of England and loved the quiet laid back feel of the place. The cottage was warm and cosy to return to after an outing and was well equipped. The stairs are particularly steep and require some care to negotiate if you are elderly like us but everything else was ideal. It was good having somewhere to park the car and the little garden was most attractive and would be great in warm weather. Having a beach hut was an extra treat and we had a couple of very pleasant mornings there. A cosy cottage, very close to the sea with a pub at both ends of the lane and lovely walks in both directions what’s not to like?!

Mrs T,

The location for this property is perfect. Warm weather enabled us to make the most of a beautiful little garden and a wonderful beach hut. The cottage is adorably quaint, well appointed and well-equipped. There are two pubs nearby (outdoor drinks for us because of Covid-19). Walking from the cottage in any direction (except out to sea) and in the area generally made it perfect for dog walking.

Mrs G,

Really enjoyed our stay. Owners very helpful. Will return at some point.
