Fisherman's Cottage is a very welcoming little cottage, with lots of little extra touches to make your stay a fun one. Enjoy the delightful summer house in the pretty garden, which has games for all the family, then just a few steps takes you onto the beach. There is also a great pub right on the beach front a few yards away - and a cliff top golf course - so just about perfect! With a beach barbecue, surf boards and buckets and spades - all you need to bring is yourselves. Shop: 750 yards Pub: 50 yards Coast: 50 yards

Really enjoyed our stay. Owners very helpful. Will return at some point.
Fantastic cottage 50m from the beach in Kingsdown - brilliant location. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. All fixtures and fittings in excellent condition and the cottage is nicely decorated. lots of helpful notes from the owners. Dedicated parking spot at the bottom of the garden is very useful as not much other parking very close by. no wifi - didn't bother us at all (mobile reception was fine), but might be needed for some people. We stay in the area 2 or 3 times a year visiting family and this cottage is up there with the best of them we have booked. Date of arrival - 26 October 2019
Great holiday in September! As for the weather, we could hardly have been lucky. Even when the nights were cold, we made ourselves comfortable with the heater / fireplace. The house is fantastically located and only a few meters from the pebble beach. The house has a small, cozy garden and a cute, practical beach house from where you can even see the chalk cliffs. For us as dog owners the fenced garden was worth a lot, as we could open the patio door carefree and the dogs could get in and out. The stairs to the upper floor are quite steep. The double bed is unfortunately only 1.40m wide. Not only the house with garden and the great beach are very dog friendly, but also the pub Zettland Arms directly on the water. There is an evening with a dog with beer and delicious food very relaxed. Attention, reserve table also in low season advisable. We had a lot of contact with different neighbors and they were all very hospitable and helpful. We may also have benefited from the quiet low season. In the area around Kingsdown there are many great destinations. The homeowners have collected a whole folder of tips and information. A small deficit in the house is the lack of Wi-Fi. Basically you can do without it on holiday. But unfortunately we would have to work a bit and were dependent on the Internet. Our conclusion: Definitely recommended! If the entry to England with dog continues to be so easy, we will come back! "
