Description

Summer Mews is a luxury three storey property enjoying uninterrupted panoramic views across two golf courses and the distant countryside. It is well-appointed and beautifully presented for modern holiday living, offering three fabulous bedrooms and two modern bathrooms.  It has a stylish open plan living and dining area with a balcony and it is only a stone's throw from the sea - you will find a well-stocked supply of beach essentials stored at the property.  The coastline here enjoys a unique microclimate which makes it one of the driest places in Britain.  There are two golf courses at the end of the garden, both sharing the same stretch of Romney Marsh land as well. There are many lovely walks and cycle paths along this stretch of diverse coastline, perfect for bird watching as well as beach fishing at Dungeness.  A short drive will take you to the historic towns of Tenterden or Rye and there are many famous gardens and castles just waiting to be explored.  With something for all the family, this makes Summer Mews the perfect holiday get-away.

Notes:  There are beach towels at the property and also a windbreak, beach chairs and buckets, spades racquets and balls for fun at the beach.

Out and About:

There are 2 golf courses behind the property.  Littlestone Golf Course is a Championship Links course that requires a handicap to play.  The second one is the Romney Warren Golf Course which is a pay and play course which can also be booked through the golf club (Tel: 01797 363355; Email: info@littlestonegolfclub.org.uk).  Both courses are cared for by the same team of greens staff and both share the same stretch of Romney Marsh land. The Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Light Railway is a 5 minute drive away and operates steam and internal combustion locomotives.  There is also a Dymchurch amusement park, the Dungeness Lighthouse and the Rare Breeds Centre near Hamstreet.  Port Lympne Zoo is a family favorite at Hythe.  There are many cycle routes throughout the countryside and coastal roads and also it is also great for walking.  The Littlestone beach is flat and perfect for collecting shells and stones and just along the coast you will find Greatstone beach which has 2 miles of sand.  The surrounding Romney Marsh is a unique landscape and a visit to the Dungeness National Nature Reserve is a great way to discover the wealth of wildlife that lives there. The nearest train station is Hythe but the mainline stations are Ashford or Folkestone.  There is a Spar shop on the Coast Road towards Dungeness and a large Sainsbury's in New Romney, family butcher, green grocer, Cook shop, coffee shops and pubs.
