Description

Ballarat House has been totally transformed by the artistic owner, into a fabulous, quirky and decadently luxurious seaside holiday home. Featuring rich and colourful painted walls, gold, marble and velvet, glass chandeliers, artwork, decorative fireplaces and many more designer touches, this house is more of an experience than a holiday home. But it is cosy and inviting with wood burners for chilly days, and a lovely walled garden for sunny, alfresco dining.

The house has 4 bedrooms on upper floors and one bedroom on the lower ground floor plus a charming open plan studio with double sofa bed which can either be a self-contained bedroom or a separate living space for guests to get away for some quiet time.

Margate is a thriving, buzzing seaside town with something for everyone, from the stunning golden sands, harbour and funfair, to the artistic quarter of the Old Town. Ballarat House is also very close to the arty shops of Northdown Road and wild swimming at Walpole Bay.
