This lovely, pet friendly cottage is perfectly located in a quiet cul de sac just off the main high street, so in the very heart of town. Park the car and forget about it for a few days of invigorating sea air and relaxation. In warm weather you can open the bifold doors and bring the garden into the house for sunny, alfresco meals. In chillier weather, light the wood burner and enjoy the cosy sitting room. Just a couple of hundred yards from the cottage you have the entire town at your disposal. The long beach, working fishing harbour and of course the fish market famous for its oysters; the vibrant High Street and Harbour Street with the great independent shops, cafes and restaurants, not to mention the pubs with live music, and the numerous art galleries. You may need to stay longer!

The town is a web of old alleyways to explore and the vibrant music and arts scene mean that there is always something happening year-round. Further afield is the historical City of Canterbury with the medieval cathedral, and Faversham with the romantic creek and bustling markets.

Perfect location for beaches, shops, restaurants and cycle routes beyond this lovely coastal town. Property is bright and spacious throughout, with great outdoor garden space. Wifi is perfect. Kitchen really well-appointed. Beds are so comfortable: fine linen. Big bathroom and great to have second shower room. Hope I can return to Whitstable - and stay in Periwinkle Cottage. Helpful and responsive contact with owner. Thank you!
