Description

Seaside bliss - super one bedroom apartment right on the seven miles of sandy beaches in Camber - with its own private balcony giving sensational views of the dunes and  sea. This is a great beach get-away for two or four, as there is use of a double sofa bed (additional charge - see notes).  The apartment is above a beach cafe so perfect if you don't want to cook breakfast but does have a fully equipped kitchen area, separate bedroom and sea themed bathroom.  Historic Rye is on your doorstep as is Winchelsea with many other pretty towns and villages to explore with castles, historic gardens and farm shops galore.  The vibrant town of Hastings is close by and is full of fresh fish restaurants, vintage shops and cliff top walks.  Tenterden is home to the Kent & East Sussex Steam Railway and also the start of the Cheers Tour which takes you on a wonderful journey of vineyards and wine tasting from some of the best Kentish wine growers. There are golf courses and plenty of walking and cycling in this area or if the beach is your first love then this is a  brilliant place for you and your children to while away the days building sand castles galore, kite-surfing or just beach combing.

Open Plan Living and Dining Area which is light and bright with windows giving panoramic views across the sands. The apartment has laminate flooring throughout for easy cleaning
Sitting Area has a leather double sofa bed, coffee table, TV with Freeview and a DVD 
Kitchen/Dining Area is very well equipped providing an electric oven and hob with extractor hood, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and breakfast bar with four high stools. There is also a table and two chairs for more formal dining with great sea views
Shower Room with tiled floor, corner shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c
Bedroom has a double bed, bed side cabinets, wall mounted T.V., built-in wardrobe, dressing table with mirror, stool and Velux roof lights

Garden: There is no garden but direct access to the beach
Parking: In adjacent car park - daily charge of £12 or pay for 1 hours parking. The owner, if available, will help you with your luggage and then you can move your car to free on-street parking nearby
Heating: Electric panel heaters
Pets: One small well behaved dog welcome but dogs are not allowed on a designated section of beach outside the apartment from 1st May to 30th September but dog walking is available either side of the apartment all year round.  Pets must not be left unattended in the property. Please bring own pet bed, blankets and bowls.  Please remove all evidence of pets from property on departure.
Notes:  There is an additional £50 charge for using the sofa bed per week or part thereof. Windbreaks, deckchairs, children's trampoline, swing boats available to hire from the cafe beach shop. The cafe is only open during daylight hours.

Security deposit:  A refundable security deposit of £100 is payable two weeks before the start of your holiday.

Amazing property - apartment modern, lovely and well equipped. Location - right on the beach, with outlook directly over the beach, to the sea. Owner really helpful and friendly. Sandunes1 is a fabulous place to stay anytime of the year. My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing time over Christmas in the lovely apartment, enjoyed long walks on the beach with our dog and rewarded ourselves afterwards with a pint (or two!) at the friendly & welcoming Owl pub.Mrs Juliet Whitmore - 29th December 2017
