“We had a lovely short break at Iden Cottage. Beautiful cottage was so clean and well-equipped, it was home from home. Thank you for the welcome pack, it was much appreciated. We will definitely visit again. Thank you to the host. Visited Rye, Hastings and Camber Sands yesterday which we enjoyed. Thank you.”
We enjoyed our short break and look forward to returning to the area on our next visit to the UK. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve was windy but wonderful. Winchelsea is delightful, especially when the sun is shining. Cottage facilities were very good.
We enjoyed our week - especially the weather. Sunburnt in Feb! Cottage is great for bird watching - access to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve from door . For the RSPB Dungeness is great. Excellent food from Jamie at the Ship - cottage had everything we needed to cook in. Loved the resident mallards who come for food and wake you up! Thank you.
Winchelsea is a fantastic historic village with a great museum
A delightful, well-kept, warm cottage. Well equipped and very inviting - including the welcome pack. Many thanks! So many different places to visit- top of the list for us was John Aspinall’s Howlett Wildlife Centre. Great walk from here to Rye Harbour.
Fantastic base to explore vineyards, steam railways, castles, etc, etc. Good cycle route to Rye along the coast. A good week in the sun in Sussex. Lovely comfortable cottage to relax in the evening after superb days out exploring!
Our second visit and as relaxing as the first - spectacular weather and a really great area. It really feels like home from home.
We had a lovely few days in your little cottage. We recommend the Standard Inn in Rye for an evening meal. Dog walking on Winchelsea Beach - bliss.
The garden was lovely.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your well-equipped, beautiful little cottage. Welcome pack including a pint of milk in fridge on arrival was a nice thoughtful touch. If only every other cottage we rented was done to this high standard. Very well done.
We had wonderful weather and a lovely time in this very comfortable cottage. We loved the garden. Nice food and dog friendly at the Queens’ Head , Icklesham
Loved spring flowers in Garden, Weather challenging, local area fascinating.. Service good.
Appreciated ‘goodies’, especially central heating too with snow and ice at the weekend. Daffodils a lovely sight. Enjoyed our week in this lovely cot
