Such a lovely cottage. Very comfortable and clean. We have had a great week here. Rye, Hastings all very interesting places to visit. The walk at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is a must. So many dogs which is great. We hope to be back as this has been such a peaceful interesting area to visit. Thank you for the Welcome Pack.

Previous Customer,

We love this area, especially Hastings Country Park for dog walks. Coastguard Tearooms good for meals, and the Two Sawyers pub in Pett Village has lovely roasts and is dog friendly. The cottage is lovely, warm, cosy and very well-equipped. Can’t wait to return! Thank you very much for the welcome pack, much appreciated. Home from home! Topped up the bird feeders in the garden. Well worth the effort!

Previous Customer,

Lovely weather and wonderful early morning walks along the beach. Recommend Hever Castle and Bodiam plus many others. For good walking Hastings Country Park leads onto many miles of footpaths. Best meal was fish and chips in Hastings. Cottage fine and garden ideal for dog. Also recommend garage opposite the fish shop. They fixed our car in half an hour with only a small charge for labour.

Previous Customer,

Thank you for a lovely stay at Iden Cottage. We enjoyed the area and Dolly loved beach walks. It was nice to come back to a clean and comfortable home.

Previous Customer,

We loved the cottage - a little gem. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space

Mrs Sarah H,

We’ve had a wonderful 2 weeks at Iden Cottage. The cottage was perfect - I don’t think there was anything we wanted that was lacking. (The ‘spare’ room was a real bonus!). No issues - lovely shower, beautiful garden. We filled the bird feeders . (Great pet shops in Rye) and had endless hours of pleasure from the birds. We had a wide range of weather - The ’Hottest Day’ and the ‘Great Storm’ .could have got carried away gardening - had to be restrained. A lovely holiday. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

A lovely cottage ideal for walking. Everything here you need for a holiday stay. Lots of lovely places nearby to visit.

Previous Customer,

A beautifully located property with everything you need for a short break!

Ms Clare P,

We will definitely visit again. Thank you to the host. Visited Rye, Hastings and Camber Sands yesterday which we enjoyed. Thank you.”

Mr F,

We had a lovely short break at Iden Cottage. Beautiful cottage was so clean and well- equipped it was home from home. Thank you for the welcome pack, it was much appreciated. We will definitely visit again. A big thank you to the host. Visited Rye, Hastings and Camber Sands which we enjoyed. Thank you Patricia.

Previous Customer,

It looked quite rickety from the outside and the surrounding housing was a bit off-putting. Car-parking involved a tricky procedure avoiding a watercourse at all costs. But the front garden was delightful. Open the front door and you are immediately struck by the care taken to present an efficient, modern apartment. The rear garden was amazing - well designed, simple but effective. We could not have asked for more comfortable, more convenient accommodation.

Previous Customer,

We enjoyed our short break and look forward to returning to the area on our next visit to the UK. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve was windy but wonderful. Winchelsea is delightful, especially when the sun is shining. Cottage facilities were very good.

Previous Customer,

We enjoyed our week - especially the weather. Sunburnt in Feb! Cottage is great for bird watching - access to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve from door . For the RSPB Dungeness is great. Excellent food from Jamie at the Ship - cottage had everything we needed to cook in. Loved the resident mallards who come for food and wake you up! Thank you.

Mrs S,

Winchelsea is a fantastic historic village with a great museum

Mr Roger B,

A delightful, well-kept, warm cottage. Well equipped and very inviting - including the welcome pack. Many thanks! So many different places to visit- top of the list for us was John Aspinall’s Howlett Wildlife Centre. Great walk from here to Rye Harbour.

Mr M E,

Fantastic base to explore vineyards, steam railways, castles, etc, etc. Good cycle route to Rye along the coast. A good week in the sun in Sussex. Lovely comfortable cottage to relax in the evening after superb days out exploring!

Mr Roger B,

Lovely cottage
