Caru is a spacious four bedroomed detached bungalow located in Wincheslea Beach, backing onto picturesque farmland - just perfect for wonderful family holidays. Winchelsea Beach is one of the few remaining comparatively undeveloped parts of the south coast, much loved by those who like fresh air and open and empty spaces. The beach is peaceful, with shingle at high tide and level sand at low - ideal for shrimping! - and there is a Nature Reserve at nearby Rye Harbour too. Walkers will love it - the adjacent farm lane leads you to stiles and an extensive network of footpaths to take you to the beach (ten minutes) or the ancient town of Rye, historic Winchelsea, Camber Castle, and - for those more committed walkers - Fire Hills Country Park and Hastings. The area is full of charming pubs (one just six hundred metres away) and restaurants, providing an extensive range of cuisines to suit all tastes - so Caru is the perfect place to make your Sussex holiday base.

We were very pleased with the property. The welcome pack on arrival was exceptional, including fresh flowers! The garden was delightful and secure for the children to play in. All together a great place to stay.
The property is well situated for a sea side holiday and close to the beach, shops and Town of Rye
Holiday property was excellent, spacious, light and airy. Well situated for walkers and bird watchers as well as getting to other places to explore. The road was quiet too. We really enjoyed our stay and having booked a holiday through an associate website in Norfolk we knew the standard of property would be excellent. The website was user friendly and full of accurate photos and information.
Excellent accommodation brilliant for family to comfortably get together.
Good,spacious and very clean.
This is an extremely comfortable and roomy family bungalow, with a sunny and cheereful atmosphere. The owners sent a helpful text before we left home, and we much appreciated the provisions and flowers that greeted us on arrival. I would be happy to recommend this letting to friends.
The holiday property was a first class holiday property and the buses stopped directly outside just away from the corner going in one direction to Hastings and the other to Rye. From these two places there were connections to many other places so excellent particularly for senior bus pass holders. We are hoping to book it again next summer. But it would be very comfortable for stays at any time of the year.
