Out and About:
Nearby is the beautiful historic medieval town of Rye with a wealth of independent craft and antique shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and a Kino Cinema. There are glorious walks to be had at Camber Sands and along the Military Canal and beautiful gardens to visit at Great Dixter and Sissinghurst. There are castles at Camber and Bodiam to explore and Winchelsea Beach is only a short stroll from the property which has a submerged petrified forest which is exposed at low tide - perfect for beach combing and fossil hunting. There is a nature reserve at Rye Harbour for bird watchers and nature lovers.

Great location with Rye, Hastings and Camber sands short drives away Winchelsea beach, supermarket and pub very short walks away and a huge field with a small play park just across the road. Everything we needed for a good time seemed to be provided in the Tardis-like townhouse from bikes to a windbreaker with a mallet (don't forget to take it with you if you visit Camber sands for the day). We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Seahorse. The Milbourns

Mr M,

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The house and garden were spotless and gorgeous. We were so lucky with the weather, having a dip in the sea every day and loved taking the bikes out. We feel like we know the way round Rye town now and will be sad to leave! Couldn't have had a lovelier stay.

B & B,

We had an amazing weekend in your beautiful house - wish we could stay longer! The weather has been amazing - even had a dip in the sea. The house has everything you could want and more. We recommend the Woolpack just outside Rye for a very tasty Sunday roast. P.S. Bally the dog recommends the beach at low tide for running and chasing.

Annette & H,

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house. We all had an superb time, especially the boys. They loved the games room downstairs. The house was very well equipped and we needed nothing else. Bike rides, long walks, crazy golf and a browse round the shops in Rye - perfect!

Miss Hayley A,

When our trip to Sherwood Forest was cancelled due to the new increased restrictions we were devastated. How lucky were we to find The Seahorse! The house is immaculate, in a great location and perfectly equipped for all our needs. Thank you for sharing your house with us and for making this a fun and relaxing getaway. We hope to come back as Mon to Fri just wasn't long enough.

Mr Richard B,
