This stunning cottage is attached to the Water Mill and sits in an idyllic location within one acre of gardens complete with mill pond and rowing boat - and yet is only minutes from the high street, supermarket and the beach. Much care has been taken in the renovation of this lovely house - you even have a view through to the corn mill with the original grinding stones. Hythe is a very attractive town and has good transport links to London by train and of course is only a short drive to the Channel Tunnel or Dover for trips to France. House very interesting; patio and garden superb. Location excellent - including short walk to Waitrose. Lots of good, relevant books in property.Mr D Gordon - 7th May 2016
The garden was amazing and very well tended. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and I am sure we will back. Hythe was a very friendly place and we got full use of our English Heritage membership within Kent.Mrs S Knott - 9th April 2016
The Garden is amazingly beautiful.Mr M Thill - 20th October 2015
The cottage is lovely. It is well equipped and comfortable. One of the best things about it is the garden, it is very beautiful and as big as a park! We met the owner who lives next door and she is very friendly and welcoming and gave us a pot of her home made marmalade.Mrs C Sneddon - 29th August 2015
Could not wish for better place to stay. This is a special place for my husband and I, we stayed at the Upper Mill for our wedding and it was perfect. It was a delight to return for Easter this year.Mrs Hough - 29th April 2014
