Nice garden and very friendly and helpful owners. Ms H from Cumbria - 8th June 2015
Exceptionally friendly hosts, we would very definitely recommend and would love to return for another stay. Absolutely fantastic couple and very, very kind. We loved the private garden at the rear of the Potting Room and it is ideally located for exploring the area. We loved the strawberries around the front door and the privacy afforded, owners felt like good neighbours by the end of our stay. Absolutely perfect little sanctuary! Mrs Davies-Tabern - 19th May 2014

A delightful cottage in a very beautiful part of the world. Many National Trust places to visit and plent of plant nurseries for a gardening fanatic. The villages in the area are very pretty and the people very friendly. Very helpful owners.Mr and Mrs Bennett from Clwyd - 1st June 2013
The Old Potting Room is an excellent base for touring the beautiful county of Kent. The cottage has everything needed for a self catering holiday. There has been great attention to detail, and it is spotlessly clean. The owners are very welcoming and their kindness and friendliness helped to make our stay a very pleasant experience.Mr and Mrs Alexander from West Yorkshire - 1st June 2013
A very pretty, cosy and comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting. The garden provides the perfect place to relax. Sissinghurst Gardens exceeded all expectations. Great Dixter is a treasure and a stroll through Ashdown Forest is like a walk in the 'Winnie the Pooh' book. Nearby Hartley Dyke Coffee shop/Farm Shop sells very tasty treats.Mr and Mrs Brook from West Yorkshire - 1st June 2013
An ideal location for visiting many National Trust properties - we made the most of our membership! A visit to the woods behind the house is recommended to see wild flowers. The cottage is ideal for 2, perfectly equipped. We really enjoyed our holiday.Mr and Mrs Murden from Derbyshire - 1st May 2013

We really enjoyed our stay here in Kent. The region is full of historical buildings, nice gardens and lovely old villages. But our stay was completed by The Old Potting Room. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the little touches of the fresh flowers and biscuits. Truly a home from home.Leonie and Henry from The Netherlands - 1st December 2012

Just bring food. The neighbouring villages are just stunning. Take time to to go Goudhurst and the sparkling sandstone church where Knights of old are buried. The whole experience is one that will be remembered for the rest of my life. Book now to avoid disappointment.Sheena and Tony from Cornwall - 1st September 2012

We have really enjoyed our week at the cottage, it's been a real "home from home" for us - even down to the colour schemes! So very comfortable and a perfect place to relax in between our trips out with the family. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome - it was lovely, wonderful hospitality and we hope to see you again soon.Christine and David from Cornwall - 8th June 2012
Thank you for the welcome on arrival and the way you have equipped The Old Potting Room. The garden is a great place to relax and the locality meant that we were able to have days out with not too much travelling - Sissinghurst, Chartwell and Pemshurst wre top of the list. Cranbrook's free car parks and the Co-op were much used and can recommend the local Indian restaurant (Mumtaz Mahal in Cranbrook High Street)Diana & Brian Miller from Dorset - 1st June 2012

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful and beautiful house and superb garden. We enjoyed some great trips and walks in Kent. The owners were a great help and it was a very relaxing week.Sam, Lisbet and little Nic from Belgium - 3rd May 2012
The holiday cottage is very well kitted out and spotlessly clean with every small detail thought of. It is a beautiful place for a holiday, peace and tranquility, birds singing, a pheasant, squirrels and rabbits to entertain in a lovely secluded garden where you can relax on the garden seats provided. If we were to award stars it would definitely be 5 stars. The flowers and biscuits were a lovely touch and much appreciated. We will definitely come to stay here again, you couldn't want more.Mark and Clare Gates from the Isle of Wight - 29th March 2012
