We enjoyed our stay in the Old Granary in Brede very, very much. Our stay (4 days) was far too short to explore all the possibilities of the environment. We must and will come back. The local pub The Red Lion is highly recommended. Food and service are really awesome.Mr VP from Netherlands - 21st May 2015
This is our fourth visit and it remains one of the very best we have had the pleasure to visit. Our hosts are excellent and it suits us perfectly.Mrs Smith - 4th May 2015
We spent two wonderful weeks at The Old Granary. Thank you so much for the lovely welcome with cake, flowers and eggs - we immediately felt at home here. The children loved getting the eggs in the morning and feeding the chickens - especially Tilda who came to visit us each day! We went for a swim at Camber Sands and enjoyed visiting the National Trust houses and gardens and castles, especially Bodiam, Scotney, Smallhythe Place and Sissinghurst. We would love to come back one day.Familes Roth and Hartz from Germany - 6th September 2014
Perfect Holiday. The owners are very nice and helpful. Mr Roth from Germany - 6th September 2014
After two wonderful weeks in The Old Granary we were sad to say goodbye, and thank you for the lemon drizzle cake, fresh eggs and other welcome pack items. The hens and their fabulous eggs found a special place in our hearts, especially 'Tilda's' visits on our verandah made us happy and laughing. The Bender family from Germany - 23rd August 2014
We had a really special and memorable stay at The Old Granary. It is a truly wonderful place with the most beautiful views. The garden and surrounding fields are a perfect playground for the kids. The roaming chickens and feeding the rabbits and guinea pigs was beyond exciting for our city kids! The barn is so well maintained and the cake and flowers on arrival a very sweet touch. We stayed here 5 years ago and have come back because we had such fond memories. 2nd times don't often live up to expectations, but this did and then some! Thank you for a special, fun filled week. We hope to be back again, but until then keep doing what you are doing! The Jones and Dowling families - 2nd August 2014
Thank you very much for your lovely welcome in the wonderful 'Old Granary'. We were lucky to spend two hot, sunny weeks here. The house is very well equipped and the garden is wonderful with the fantastic view to the valley. Every morning the chicken had breakfast with us.
