Description
The Bothy is a delightful rural retreat, surrounded by wildflower meadows, pastures and woodland adjacent to Hemsted Forest. The beautifully restored 200 year old detached cottage is cloaked in ivy and clematis and situated on a small, peaceful, working farm with hens, geese and ponies in the paddock. On hot summer days when you have tired of sitting in your sun trap patio - the climate control air conditioning in the cottage is a welcome relief or relax in the Shepherds Hut with a good book. The living area is open plan and comfortably furnished throughout with long country views from all windows. Despite its secluded location The Bothy is close to the picturesque country towns of Cranbrook and popular Tenterden with its varied mix of restaurants, shops, pubs, coffee shops and leisure centre. Ideally situated for visiting the many National Trust properties including Sissinghurst and Bodiam, the famous gardens at Great Dixter and the vineyards at Biddenden. With Angora goats to pet and space to roam this is the perfect holiday for all the family to enjoy. Short breaks by request only.
