Cackle Hill Lakes are located just outside the pretty village of Biddenden on the road to Headcorn.  Three well stocked lakes, two specimen lakes and one pleasure lake, surrounded by willows and bull rushes and adorned with lily pads, offer marvellous fishing opportunities for all levels of skill and interest.  Fishing on the pleasure lake is included in the rental price. There are four comfortable open plan lodges set in the grounds, Cackle Hill Lodge 2 is generously proportioned with wood effect flooring and large windows taking advantage of the natural light and lovely views.  It also has its own fenced garden and decked veranda overlooking one of the lakes. The Lodge is perfectly placed for both fishing and golf with a Nick Faldo designed course just over the road.  Biddenden boasts a Michelin star restaurant as well as a traditional tea shop and a popular pub, while nearby Headcorn has a good selection of shops and a station with trains to London, Canterbury and the coast. The Designer Outlet Centre at Ashford is easily accessible and day trips to Paris are manageable thanks to the International Station! The rental cost includes fishing for the duration of your holiday on the pleasure lake, subject to availability and must be booked with Cackle Hill Lakes in advance.
