Description

The Lodges at Cackle Hill Lakes are situated on a Course Fishery located just outside Biddenden on the road to Headcorn.  There are four comfortable open plan lodges set in the grounds with two well stocked specimen lakes and a pleasure lake which are surrounded by willows and bull rushes and adorned with lily pads and offer marvellous fishing opportunities for all levels of skill and interest. Lodge 4 is generously proportioned with 3 bedrooms, wood effect flooring throughout and large windows taking advantage of the natural light and lovely views. It has its own decked veranda for alfresco dining overlooking one of the lakes. The Lodge is perfectly placed for both fishing and golf with a Nick Faldo designed course just over the road at Chart Hills Golf Club.  Biddenden boasts a Michelin star restaurant as well as a traditional tea shop and a popular pub, while nearby Headcorn has a good selection of shops and a station with trains to London, Canterbury and the coast. The surrounding area has much to offer including the oldest vineyard in Kent which offers tours and tastings, many National Trust properties to visit, ancient castle to explore and wonderful countryside to roam.  Staying here lets you combine relaxation with adventure!
