Description

The Bolthole, perfectly described by its name, is a cosy yet spacious cabin for couples looking to escape to the countryside and immerse themselves in the natural world.  The cabin has been hand-crafted by its' owner using many energy efficient techniques to ensure you have a wonderful experience in the heart of the Kent countryside.  Floor to ceiling windows invite the outside in, allowing you to watch nature unfold.  The Bolthole has a clever roomy design with an open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen.  There is a linked seating area connected to the bedroom where you can sit, relax and read or watch the birds or the neighbouring sheep with open skies and wrap-around countryside views.  The interior living area is welcoming and comfortable with some of the smaller pieces of furniture having been crafted by the owner to fit perfectly into its surroundings.  Through the French doors there is a private decked area with outside seating and a fenced garden area with a chiminea for those chilly evenings outside stargazing.  In addition, there is also a central area with a utility kitchen and hot tub.  The central kitchen has 2 washing machines; one for the humans and the other is for your doggies towels and blankets, if they require a rinse. Reviews

This is our second short break to this property. It is tucked away in a quiet location but is well-sited for local amenities and attractions or just relaxing in the garden. It's well-equipped and has the best welcome pack I have every had. As the neighbouring property is not yet complete, we had the hot tub to ourselves! Andrew is always available to help with any issues that may arise.

Mr S,

We have just spent 5 idyllic days staying in the Bolthole, a beautiful hut set in a perfect scenic rural location far from the madding crowd. Andrew and Heather have created a comfortable and homely interior to the huts with great attention to detail. Their friendly welcome and a Welcome pack for guests when they arrive includes Heather's very own honey from her bee hives, delicious. We highly recommend Plush Huts and all that surrounds the site including the great pub, the Three Chimneys nearby. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much Andrew and Heather.

Previous Customer,

What an absolutely beautiful spot . Just been there for a week and will be booking again . The Bolthole is exactly what it says , if you want to get away from it all and love nature , peace and quiet and wildlife this is it . Andrew and Heather have put a huge amount of thought and consideration into all of the little touches , nothing is forgotten . The garden is secure for the dog and the hot tub is a real pleasure to sit in and just watch the sheep in the meadows by the side . Everything you could want us here . We definitely will be returning hopefully soon .
