Description

The Deer Loft is a wonderful, contemporary styled first floor conversion with stunning views and surrounded by grassland. It is located in the tranquil grounds of the owner's home, in its own valley where you can often see buzzards circling overhead, hear tawny owls calling to one another, and woodpeckers knocking. The open plan living area is spacious and light with a large comfy L-shaped sofa, a dining table, and a show-stopper view.  The small kitchen is perfectly-formed and there is a separate bedroom with a sumptuous bed to fall into after a full day out in the countryside. The Deer Loft is nestled beneath the Wye Downs Nature Reserve, lying on The Pilgrims Way: an ancient route connecting the coast to Canterbury and beyond.  It is the perfect location for nature-lovers, walkers and cyclists, with a network of footpaths and bridleways from the doorstep. There is outside seating with only the babbling stream and birdsong for company. In the evenings and early mornings, fallow deer emerge from surrounding woods to graze the fields and, during the rut, stags grunt from the wooded slopes of the downs. Guests are invited to pick-their-own seasonal herbs from the garden, and there is storage for bicycles and hanging space for wet coats and boots below the Loft.
