If you just want to head to the local pub for a delicious meal then The Granville is under 100 yards from the house and has a great menu and Shepherd Neame beers - plus they offer a discount for our guests.  Shop: 0.6 miles  Pub: 100 yards    Coast: 11.3 miles

Excellent accommodation and location. Perfect for exploring Canterbury and the surrounding area. The owners were very welcoming and the 'welcome basket' of goodies was a nice touch.

Mr Wayne L,

David and Lynda were the perfect hosts. Left us alone to enjoy our stay but were there when we needed them. The cottage is lovely and in an excellent location. Enjoyed a lovely relaxing break. Would definitely recommend and hoping to stay there again next year.

Mr Mark A,

Property of a high standard in a very pleasant situation

Mr Anthony W,

Good quality facilities, friendly owners, great location.

Mr Michael W,

Owner made us feel so very welcome. Granville Pub just down the road had great food.

Mr Clive R,

One of the nicest and most relaxing cottages we have ever stayed in. The owners were very hospitable and friendly.

Mrs Natasha B,

It suited me perfectly, was in a good location for exploring east Kent, and the owners were very friendly. I felt really 'at home' there.

Miss Sara F,

The property has an open-plan lay-out with the Bedroom and Living Room combined. However, this provides a spacious feel and was what sold it to me from the photos originally. My wife had slight reservations about this aspect beforehand but none in actuality. Having booked with Kent and Sussex Cottages for 4 consecutive years in different locations we have a good idea of what to expect. This year's scored particularly highly with minor features such as the plentiful bathroom 'Lotions and Potions' and the largest of all 'Welcome Packs'. The property, located on the B2068 ( ie A relatively major road)was very quiet but that much easier to travel from and to each day without having the challenge of previous very narrow roads for us 'townies'!!! We did not do all our possible visits and may well return to the Canterbury area again and would definitely book the same property again. The owners were very personable and welcoming. Of the 4 properties booked to date this is my favourite and my wife's 2nd favourite...and by far the best weather!!!

Steve H,

Definitely above standard! Surpassed our expectations!

Mr Arnim B,

A welcome pack was provided consisting of milk, bread, eggs, fruit juice, biscuits and confectionary nibbles; much appreciated. Everything was above and beyond our expectations.

Ideal location to tour East Kent. Cottage extremely comfortable, very friendly owners- Welcome pack much appreciated. For us the cottage was excellent in every respect, attention paid to detail. First class.
