Description

Just a few minutes away from the bustling High Street, is this great 1st floor apartment, beautifully furnished with vintage accents and luxury touches.  It is within a period property located on the delightful King's Mile - a collection of streets steeped in history and brimming with independent artisan shops and restaurants.  The location of this elegant, sophisticated pied'a terre for 2, couldn't be better with the Marlowe Theatre just around the corner, and within earshot of the chiming bells of the cathedral, the spires of which can be seen through the bedroom window.  Canterbury is a true delight for visitors with its many medieval winding streets to explore, trendy cocktail bars and music bars for the evenings and a huge choice of restaurants.  If you fancy taking it easy, try out a gentle punt down the River Stour through the Westgate Gardens, or take some time in the hushed and hallowed surroundings of the magnificent cathedral.  Leave the car at home and hop on the fast train from London, the station is only 10 minutes walk away, as is the well-known 'Goods Shed' a fabulous restaurant built on a raised platform overlooking a covered market, selling excellent local Kentish produce. Perfect for short breaks, but with so much to do in this beautiful, historic and cosmopolitan city you may want to stay a little longer!

Reviews

The Nest is in a perfect position to explore Canterbury. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack. We hope to be back for longer next time as there is so much to see and do.

Mrs Melia,

So lucky to have found The Nest. First visit to Canterbury, absolutely lovely. Enjoyed the Cathedral and wandering around the lovely city, although it was bitterly cold. Great to have The Nest to come back to and relax and warm up. Thank you for all the thoughtful touches and the lovely soft towels.

Mrs Clare Wilson,

We had a lovely couple of days at The Nest. Everything we needed (and more) was available to us, thank you. We really loved the central position from which to explore the City of Canterbury. Great place for a winter break in a warm apartment. Thank you for the welcome pack, we celebrated our wedding anniversary here and really enjoyed our stay.
