Super wee cottage in the centre of Canterbury offering medieval charm with a modern finish. It is compact living but it really has everything you need not to mention being dog friendly. Thank you very much! We had a great stay.
Having been away from Canterbury for many years my partner and I wanted to visit and with out little Jack Russell in tow we were looking for a place where we could lock the door and not worry about her. We found it with Ivy Lane...this is a wonderful little house located just outside the city walls of Canterbury. Just a few minutes walk and you are at in the city center with all the history, restaurants and shopping the city has to offer. A wood burner and period features make this place very cozy. 'Queenie' (the Jack Russell) was made very welcome with bowls and some treats. Tea and coffee was awaiting us....all in all a wonderful and magical place. So much so that we have stayed twice now and will be re-booking again for our next Canterbury trip.....this feels like a home from home. One point of note for people booking from North America, this is a small house. A great alternative to a hotel, but do not think a large house. Book for a couple (and dog), but not for a family.....that said I refer to my previous comments and this place will not disappoint.
