A wonderful place to relax that we have returned to each year.
Orchard Cottage was ideally located for visiting Sissinghurst and Leeds Castle. The cottage overlooks lovely countryside and you feel as if you are miles from anyway, but actually you are within a short drive from local villages. Good pubs within a few miles.
Very pleasant & friendly hosts.
A gem of a little cottage. Sitting on the edge of a huge apple orchard with abundant wildlife around you, a pond is also within the grounds. The cottage is away from the owners home and the cottage is not overlooked, the owners are definitely not intrusive, but on hand if needed and left all a good selection of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, chocolate biscuits. which was a lovely touch. Within a few minutes drive of couple of small shops, but we went prepared with everything we'd need for a weekend break so we didn't have to leave and I'm so glad we did as when it came time to go home, we really didn't want to go. The cottage has lots of repeat visitors and we could easily understand why, we will certainly go back.
After 12 years it feels like second home and an excellent place to stay.
