This pretty conversion, offers a first floor apartment with every comfort for two with hand made stained glass features and lovely views across the countryside, the Owner's orchards and their hop fields beyond. It is a short walk to the medieval village of Chilham with two good pubs, a castle and picturesque square - the set of so many well-known period dramas. The countryside is a walker's dream with the Pilgrims Way just across the orchards and miles of beautiful footpaths to explore. Pop into Canterbury on the train, with your bike or on foot on the Stour Valley walk and explore this famous medieval city renowned for its stunning cathedral, with excellent shopping and a vibrant cafe culture. Dining/Sitting Area has velux windows (with built-in blinds) and a large picture window overlooking the lovely garden and countryside. There is a two seater sofa bed with large mirror above, a coffee table and small side tables with a TV, a drop-leaf dining table and two dining chairs complete the room
Shower/Wet Room with shower, heated towel rail, hand basin and w.c
Bedroom a pretty spacious room with dual aspect windows and built-in shelves. There is a double bed and bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers and hanging hooks for clothes. There is also an attractive antique plan box, occasional table and a pretty wicker chair.
Garden: The property is set in the Owner's garden and there is an area of the garden set aside behind the property for use of guests and an additional raised decking area with stunning views over the orchards to the side of the main house
Parking: Off road on the driveway to the front of the property for one car
Heating: Electric radiators. The property has excellent insulation.
Smoking: No smoking at all at this property
Pets: No pets allowed at this property
Security Deposit: A security deposit of £150 is payable for this property 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Notes: The Owner's have a dog which will be loose in the garden and is very friendly. The decking area is raised and there are steps down to it which are quite steep around the side of the main house. There is a sofa bed in the sitting room for flexible sleeping.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Hop Pocket. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating and the welcome pack was excellent. The location was very beautiful.
