Wonderful property.Mrs H Gardner - 7th July 2017
This property was simply the best holiday rental we have experienced. The conversion was of the highest quality and nothing appeared to be too much for the owners. To receive a welcome pack made our arrival even better. The property is located in the centre of outstanding Kent countryside and is close to many National Trust properties and local vineyards. The owners were very considerate and nothing was too much trouble. Simply an outstanding short break holiday and we will return for a longer holiday.Mr B M Crook - 19th March 2017

What an amazing place. The conversion has been done to such a high but comfortable standard. We knew we were in for a treat when we booked, but what we didn't know is just how well we would be looked after. the holiday was so much more enjoyable thanks to the homeowners hospitality. I felt we were staying with friends but with the independence of our own cottage. We highly recommend it and thanks so much for all the effort you have gone to and we will look forward to seeing you again soon.Hawkins Family - Devon - 23rd November 2016

Saddlehurst Barn is amazing. Part of the magic of this beautiful place comes from the homeowners We were made to feel so very welcome along with our grand daughter who was a gate crasher - Thank you so much for the special little treats that lit her face up. And thank you for the grown up treats too. You have thought of everything here, this barn feels like a home that you don't want to leave. I have never seen such a high standard conversion from a barn to a luxurious house!. Thank you very much for all the food you left for us and the fresh eggs. Kent is an ideal region to enjoy your vacation with the beautiful beach at Camber, lovely places like Rye, Canterbury and Whitstable. We visited Chartwell, Hever Castle and Sissinghurst Castle. Full marks to Phil and Penny for an outstanding self-catering property. As experienced self-caterers this is the most glamorous and hi-tech property we have rented! The barn is really well placed between the delightful village of Cranbrook (with an excellent Co-Op supermarket and a good selection of shops) and the small town of Tenterden (Waitrose and Tesco) which has made shopping easy and enjoyable. The barn is a wonderful, well equipped renovation and perfectly situated for sightseeing. Phil and Penny have been discreet but very welcoming, generous and attentive hosts. Many thanks for a great fortnight; we leave with very happy memories of our stay here. PS The only advice to fellow guests is to plan your stay carefully as there is so much to see and do here! Our top five are:_ Chartwell, Sissinghurst, Ightham Mote, Rye, SmallhytheMiss Kay, Cheshire - 19th September 2015

The owners were charming and could not have been more helpful. Very warm property. Very good showers ( often the downfall of holiday lets).
