Description

Bells Forstal Farm Stables - once home to working Shire horses on the farm  - have been imaginatively converted into a stunning holiday home in a picturesque setting. Finished to an exceptionally high standard, the cottage offers guests the opportunity to sample a taste of real country living -  in luxury. Set in the heart of a mixed working farm, the cottage is surrounded by footpaths for you to explore the glorious countryside at a leisurely pace. The farm is located six miles south of the charming and historic market town of Faversham and the local area has lots of attractions to appeal to all the family. A visit to Farming World at Boughton is a must for the children, Brogdale Farm - home to the National Fruit Collection is closeby and just up the road is the beautiful Georgian house of Belmont, amid its parkland gardens houses the finest private collection of clocks in Britain! More gardens can be visited at Doddington Place with the added attraction of  birds of prey flying demonstrations. Also within easy reach are historic Canterbury, the seaside town of Whitstable - famed for its oysters and iconic Leeds Castle. Add to this the excellent road and  fast rail links to London and beyond - what better place to make your Kent holiday base?

is a wonderful living space, with porcelain tiled flooring throughout and underfloor heating. The vaulted ceilings with original beams make the space light and bright and the stunning wood burning stove ensures you will be warm and toasty whatever the time of year. There are comfortable sofas, attractive coffee table and occasional tables, and a TV/DVD
Dining Area has an extending table - useful for extra dinner guests and the kitchen is comprehensively equipped providing an electric oven and hob with extractor hood, an eye-level combination microwave, a washer dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, full size dishwasher and a wine cooler.  There is a freezer located in the attached store
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and chest of drawers with mirror over. It also benefits from a lovely En-Suite Wet Room with  heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c and shower.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds with can be zipped together to form a super-king size if required, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bathroom with gorgeous deep free-standing bath with hand shower, heated towel rail ,washbasin and w.c

Garden: Fully enclosed with patio and lawn. Garden furniture and barbecue provided.
Parking: Directly beside the property.
Heating: Oil fired underfloor heating and wood burning stove.
Also Provided: First basket of logs. £3 per basket thereafter as required.
Notes: A half step is available to assist with access. The farms dairy heifers are housed in the adjacent barns over winter.. Macknade Farm shop, national award winning specialist food store is 5 miles from the cottage.
