Pound Hill Cottage is a most attractive detached barn conversion in the grounds of Pound Hill Farm - a traditional Kent farmhouse. A gloriously peaceful spot surrounded by unspoilt countryside, there are many lovely walks in the vicinity. The small village of Frittenden has a popular pub within easy walking distance and is ideally located for exploring the many attractions in the High Weald of Kent - Sissinghurst Castle Garden is a pleasant two mile walk. The barn has been converted to a very high standard and is on one level, providing exceptional comfort for two guests. Short breaks in the low season by request.

The popularity if this property speaks for itself when one looks at the advance bookings diary. A good investment by Paul and Sue and a great asset to the area and to your portfolio. We would love to rebook should we find a gap in the diary, hopefully next year when "things" should be back to normal re. visiting pubs and indoor venues.
We had a wonderful week at Pound Hill Cottage. The photographs barely do it justice. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very well-equipped with everything you could need for self-catering. There was a bottle of apple juice (with home grown apples) and biscuits to welcome us; with milk in the fridge and fresh flowers on the dining room table. The bed was really comfortable, and we loved the bathroom with walk-in shower. There was an abundance of storage space. It was lovely to sit out on the patios watching the variety of small birds on the feeder, and we saw rabbits on the lawn in the early mornings. In general, it was a truly peaceful and relaxing holiday setting. The location is excellent, within easy reach of great places to visit and you can do several walks from the doorstep. The village of Headcorn is 3 ½ miles away and has a well-stocked Sainsbury’s local, butcher’s, bakery, deli, coffee shops, pubs and an Indian restaurant which also does take-aways. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this cottage and hope we may return at some point.
