This stylish and modern little gem has everything you could wish for in a holiday property. It has been converted with great flair and attention to detail and offers spacious accommodation for 4 on a well cared for smallholding with pet Kunekune pigs. The property is only a short walk over the footpaths to Frittenden with a good pub and small but well stocked shop. The Milking Parlour is in the rural Kent countryside but is only 3 miles from Staplehurst with good rail links to London. It has an open plan living area and separate large kitchen and both bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms. There is a bedroom on the ground floor making this property suitable for guests with impaired mobility. The property is perfectly located to visit the many National trust properties in the area, the beautiful gardens at Sissinghurst Castle, the medieval Castles of Bodiam, Hever and Leeds. There are many vineyards to visit and sample delicious ciders and sparkling wines at Hush Heath, Biddenden Vineyard and Chapel Down. The nearby towns of Maidstone, Tenterden and Tunbridge Wells offer excellent shopping opportunities and great bars, restaurants and cafes. Close by is the stunning sandy beach at Camber near the medieval town of Rye famous for its antique shops.

The owner is happy to organise a farm tour for children to see the animals. It is a small farm with 5 pet Kunekune pigs which can be petted and approximately 3 cows and 1 bull, 26 ewes, 2 rams and 40 lambs. The animals are housed over winter in a byre in the farm yard so there can be some noise during feeding time. There are also 450 free range turkeys. Meat products can be purchased from the owner subject to availability.
We've had a lovely relaxing time here in Kent, in the most spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped holiday home we've ever stayed in. We found everything we needed here and have all slept really well in the comfortable beds. The peace and tranquility of the farm have all contributed to a fantastic well needed break. We recommend visiting the local pub The Bell and Jorrocks for a delicious meal in a friendly and relaxed surroundings. Tenterden os grat with some lovely shops, cafes and the Lemon Tree Restaurant where we highly recommend the cooked breakfast. Thank you for such a fab stay - we wish we could have stayed longer but work calls.
