A delightful, unusual barn conversion in a glorious location with lovely views over the owners pretty gardens and large pond as well as the orchards to the rear and wonderful views over the rolling Kentish countryside. This is ideal walking country with many footpaths adjacent and within a short drive are many historic houses, gardens, National Trust and English Heritage properties. The mainline station at Marden is only four miles distant for trains to London (one hour) and the historic and picturesque village of Goudhurst offers shopping, a variety of restaurants and pubs. Notes; Children over ten years old only (due to pond). Sorry - no mini-breaks are possible at this property. The owners' friendly dog and an assortment of ducks roam around the shared garden. The pond is available for fishing and is well stocked with roach, perch, tench and rudd.
A comfortable, well-furnished and well-equipped property with a lovely outlook. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, especially with hints about places to visit.
